IN THE BEGINNING ..........
Massachusetts Esthetician, Holly Brown, Oncology trained, suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and Sarcoidosis. She founded Looking & Feeling FAB, Inc. after developing a rash from chemotherapy infusions. When reporting the rash to her Physicians, they responded with blank stares and silence. She knew there had to be something to help. But Holly soon found out there was no help to alleviate these devastating side effects leading to low self-esteem, isolation, and decrease in quality of life. Holly was determined to change this and in 2013 her dream became a reality when Looking & Feeling FAB, Inc. achieved nonprofit 501(c)(3) Public Charity status from the federal government. FAST FORWARD TO 2020 ...........Looking & Feeling FAB, Inc.(LFF) is the industry leader in treating skin side effects from cancer treatment. LFF is the first nonprofit in existence that concentrates exclusively on treating these side effects. LFF has treated more skin issues for Oncology patients than any other organization in existence. They have seen hundreds of skin reactions from chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, targeted and immunotherapies and helped hundreds who would otherwise suffer in silence. Every skin side effect differs from person to person and requires a well thought our course of treatment customized to the individual, their situation and where they are in their battle. Education is very important to avoid recommending products containing ingredients that may interfere with treatment, cause irritation or more importantly cause cancer. Thank goodness for Holly Brown and her team at Look Good Feel Fab, they are incredible. I was pretreated w/ a skin care regimen to prepare for a therapy known to cause facial breakouts and drying skin. The facials were a great way to feel good and relax. A couple weeks in my skin was reacting to the chemo, Holly worked with me to find the right products to ease the pain. My skin started to heal and I began to feel more confident. I continue to use her products and my skin looks better now than ever before.
My husband just looked at my face and said it was beautiful! The scar on my nose is almost gone. You guys are phenomenal. Magic hands.
In 2015, I had a mastectomy. In 2019, the area around the scar started to open up and ooze. I suffered with a raw, open wound that bleed at times and would not heal. This effected my quality of life. I even went to a wound care center at a well-respected Boston hospital, and the doctor did not have any solution. In 2020, my friend introduced me to the special serum and cream. I applied both to the open area, and skin granulation started happening and the area was healing. It was a miracle!!! Resilience 99 moisturizer was most effective in keeping the skin protected.
I am sure that there’re many women experiencing the same frustration and concern about how to heal their skin issues that could benefit greatly. Thank you! Affirming compassion, joy and gratitude always
When I was battling Breast Cancer, I developed rashes and hives. My skin was burning, stinging and itching. Often debilitating the Dr’s were at a loss of how to help me othere than give me high doses of antihistamines and injections. Still the hives raged on!
Holly Brown from LFF was a guest speakers at the Livestrong SSYMCA. I told her about my condition. Her response was “I think I can help you!” Working with physicians, hospitals and oncology-trained aestheticians she offered us chemical free skin care products, facials and massage at no cost. Every person was impressed with her knowledge, generosity and compassion.
Holly provided me with products to soothe the itching and burning. Also an essential oil that I call “ Liquid gold” that calms my skin in minutes. She gave me a cold roller for my skin when things became unbearable. After trying so many things with no relief, the products from LFF are helping me manage my condition.
I found out I had breast cancer on a beautiful monday. From surgeries to chemotherapy treatments to radiation, at every turn my skin was being attacked. My skin was dried out, itchy, cracking, and unhealthy looking. That was until I was introduced to Holly Brown, LE. I met Holly in the midst of chemotherapy treatments at a seminar for skin care during and after cancer treatment. At my first appointment we discussed my history and my pre and post cancer skin. After receiving my skin treatment from Holly she sent me home with some trial kits. I used them religiously and the difference it made to my skin was amazing! I will say the biggest compliment came to me after I had a bilateral mastectomy and was told by my nurse that I had the “best skin she had ever seen on a cancer patient”. If it were not for Holly and the remarkable services and products she provides there is no telling the condition my skin would be in after cancer treatment.
“I was diagnosed with Melanoma in June of 2015. I was placed on 2 chemo drugs Vemurafenib and Trametini B. As a result one of the side effects was skin sores. I was told about the foundation Looking & Feeling FAB, by a friend. Cancer being the frightening life altering experience that it is, I was very skeptical to try anything. I finally met with Holly Brown at my house, and she brought all of the lotions and cleansing foams and showed me how to use them step-by-step. I began to use all of the products and within days I could see a difference, and within, and within 2 weeks they were pretty much gone. I cannot say enough about Holly’s foundation and her patience and kindness taking me through all this"
“Holly! You have hit it out of the park with feel Fab ! My skin hasn't felt this good since you came into our world! I am in awe with your products! Please any way I can help pay it forward I'd love to share ideas! We could have so many creative fundraisers or anyway to share this education of greatness for the skin ! I am in awe! Thank YOU!”
“Looking and Feeling Fab has been an incredible resource for me during my breast cancer journey. During my first consultation, Holly went over my diagnosis, treatment plan and adapted the skincare regimen to my needs, making the experience extremely personalized. While the people behind the organizations are simply amazing, the products that are shared, at no cost to those in treatment - and beyond, are the highest quality. During treatment, I’ve been told numerous times how beautiful my skin looks. During the most difficult times, it was a relief to feel some sort of normalcy, and being a part of this organization gave me just that. For anyone undergoing cancer treatment or for those in remission, I could not be more proud to recommend a visit with Holly at Looking and Feeling Fab!"
Look & Feel Fab was a blessing, as I needed chemo and radiation. LFF has been kind, courteous, respectful, professional, and helpful. My skin went through many changes with chemo and radiation. People noticed how great it looked. I started the oil and lotion regimen prior to my radiation and had very minimal burning or redness. The program helped my journey through radiation. My physician and nurse were all very impressed. To date, I do not have redness or discoloration. My skin treatments help skin maintain its flexibility and smoothness. The regimen helped through physical therapy and preparation for my last breast surgery. I have found the program extremely beneficial and have recommended it. My nurses were not aware of the program and now have information to help others.
“Jordyn has the “touch” when it comes to facials. She’s professional, charming, and knows exactly how to give the best facial. I truly love the experience!”
Meet Melanie! As with many residents of Puerto Rico, her home was ruined by Hurricane Maria last year. Soon after she was diagnosed with cancer, the hospitals there were not equipped to treat the rare type she had. Her family has very strong ties to their community and church who raised enough money to send her and her parents to the U.S. for treatment. After being radiated from head to toe, her skin now damaged was dry, sensitive, flaky, itchy, and discolored. She came to FAB to heal her skin. After a couple of months she noticed the dramatic results from in-spa treatments and home care provided and all at no cost to her. Her skin is soft, supple, healthy, and the lightening of her dark spots are a testament to a great skin care regimen. Her father says his daughter Melanie gets more and more beautiful everyday! She was so inspired by Holly, Christina, and Barbara, she is enrolling in Esthetics school to become and Oncology Esthetician to help others like her.
"Holly and Looking & Feeling Fab were just what I needed to help me feel whole again. You see I had breast cancer and after going through chemo, surgery and radiation I was left feeling ugly, cancer is ugly and it made me feel ugly. Then I met Holly at Looking and Feeling Fab she was like an angel. She knew so much about the effects/after effects of cancer treatments and what it does to the skin, she taught me a lot. More importantly she treated me with dignity. She treated my skin, she was gentle, caring and explained everything in detail. Because of Holly and what she does I feel beautiful again. It's hard to have confidence meeting people when you feel ugly, people see your face first, then they see you. Holly, thank you for what you do, how you do it and why you do it. I would not have felt worthy of my new job if it were not for you giving me the care and confidence to put myself out there face first. Thank you for everything you do”
Thank you so much, Holly, for the amazing facial that Christina gave me. She is so gentle! It was nice to get away from treatment that makes me sick and have a treatment that made me feel better. 🙂 I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Christina is so kind. She helped me go through the great products you sent to figure which ones were best. You both made me feel alive again.Thank you for all you do. You are all heroes.
